Crystal White
Hello! My name is Crystal (Snelson) White! My husband, Jamie and I have a beautiful 3-year-old daughter, Caroline. I am a native to the Fairview/Reynolds area and I am excited to grow my family here as well. I grew up playing multiple sports from youth league through college. In High School I played softball for a national all-star team. In college I ran cross country and competed on a national level in NIA diving. I pursued my love of fitness with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science. I have since used that degree to work in the fitness industry for over 10 years. I have a passion for helping others realize their health and fitness goals. Personally, I have continued to train and compete in multiple fitness disciplines ranging from bodybuilding to CrossFit to becoming and national qualifying strongwoman.
I have trained hundreds of clients over the last 10 years ranging from 12 years old to 83 years young. I have hundreds of hours of continuing education in a variety of smaller specialties such as Dynamax Med Balls, Kettle bells, HIIT – High intensity interval training, aqua fitness, etc. I have experience helping people from all backgrounds of fitness experience and inexperience.
I specialize in women’s weight loss, getting healthy pre-baby, and during the entirety of a pregnancy as well as postnatal fitness & nutrition. Women’s boot camps are always a ton of fun, so grab some friends and let’s get started.
I have a passion for working with adaptive athletes to increase their overall health and wellness. As well as the functional ability to complete everyday tasks with better ease and confidence.
The elderly have a special place in my heart. I strive to help them create and maintain healthy habits in addition to improving everyday functional movements and balance to increase the quality and longevity of their lives.

Jamie White
My name is Jamie White and I am 36 years old. I am the Husband to the awesome owner of Specialized Fitness and I am the father to our beautiful 3-year-old baby girl. I am a Drug and Alcohol Counselor and my career is rooted in helping others achieve their goals. Working with others is where I find fulfillment in life and fitness is one of the avenues I enjoy using to do so.
I have been a competitive athlete for most of my life. I held varsity letters in track and cross country in high school and played on a club lacrosse team. After high school I took an interest in alpine climbing and expeditionary mountaineering. I also began training in mixed martial arts and Thai boxing. I traveled around the world exploring those passions including trips to Nepal and Mexico for mountaineering and roughly 6 months spent in Thailand training in Thai boxing at a traditional muay Thai school in Phuket. Later in my 20s I found a new passion in strength and conditioning.
I believe it is safe to say that a lifestyle based around health and fitness has saved my life. I am in recovery from opioid addiction and alcoholism and I have been clean and sober for 6 years. The life I have built around health and fitness has been an immense contribution to my success in sobriety. After getting sober I found an interest in the sport of Strongman and competed in that venue for 4 years. I was ranked 5th in the country in the United States Strongman Federation as a 198lb competitor in 2020. For the last couple years, I have competed consistently in the Tactical Games.
Most of my experience as a coach has been based in the adaptive athlete’s community. Until the pandemic I was a powerlifting coach for the Special Olympics. I am also one of the founders of the Adaptive Athlete Program in Asheville that serves the health and fitness needs of athletes with special abilities. I am CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Adaptive certified. It is a life dream to own a gym and have the ability to bring people together in a common interest of health and fitness. And I look forward to working with anyone who is trying to become a better version of themselves!
